Pedigree Name: Mountain Myst Dream of the Arctic Wolf

Pet Name: Buck (or Bucky, since Linda’s last name is Barnes)

Weight: Approx: 80 lbs

Coloring: Biscuit, cream, and black.

Born: February 12, 2021

Buck represents some of the best of the Northern Inuit breed. In 2021, in the Breeders’ Category for the Northern Inuit Society of America Virtual Dog Show, he placed as Best Puppy, Best Male, and Best In Show.

Buck has amber eyes. His coat is cream colored with a classic Northern Inuit mask and markings. He has a thick, furry ruff around his neck, giving him a strong wolfy look. Indeed, many people regularly mistake him for a wolf!

He is energetic and loves to race around at top speed with other dogs. At the same time, he is gentle with smaller dogs and children, and still imagines that he is a snuggly lap dog.

He rarely barks, but vocalizes instead in ways that sound like wolfish howling.

When he wants to play, he is persistent in letting us know, bringing toys and dropping them in our laps for us to throw. He also loves a game we call “Doggy Run-Run”, in which he runs back and forth between us as fast as he can for treats. It’s a great way to work off some of his extra energy!

Buck will be able to start providing stud services beginning in mid-February of 2023.
